Account type: Whether you're a recruiter or job seeker

Profile Information (Job Seekers)

LinkedIn URL: Optional, self-provided
Personal website: Optional, self-provided
Resume: Uploaded files stored securely in AWS S3

Usage Data

Login activity: Timestamps of account access
Applications: Records of which jobs you apply to
Listings created: For recruiters, jobs posted

Payment Information

Processed by Stripe: We do not store credit card numbers
Billing records: Subscription status and history

Technical Data

Session cookies: For authentication
IP addresses: For security and analytics
Browser information: User agent strings for compatibility

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide and maintain the service
Process job applications and connect you with recruiters/candidates
Process payments via Stripe
Send transactional emails (password resets, application confirmations)
Improve and optimize our platform

4. Information Sharing

With Recruiters

When you apply to a job listing, and the recruiter has an active subscription, they can access:

Your email address
Your LinkedIn URL (if provided)
Your personal website (if provided)
Your resume

With Job Seekers

Job seekers can see listing information from recruiter emails including:

Role title, company, location, salary
Recruiter contact information

With Third-Party Service Providers

Stripe: Payment processing (Privacy Policy)
AWS S3: Resume storage (Privacy Policy)
Resend: Transactional email delivery (Privacy Policy)

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure storage practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request account deletion at any time.

7. Your Choices

Update or correct profile information in settings
Delete your resume at any time
Cancel recruiter subscriptions through the billing portal
